Another Walk In My Yard

These last few weeks have been unreal busy! We are starting to enjoy Summer Break now! I just can't describe how much I love it!

In all of my busy "ness" =) I haven't forgot to stop and smell the roses so to speak. Let's see what's going on new in my yard and flower garden...
The Irises have been beautiful as usual!! My orange ones haven't bloomed yet.
 Dianthus in full bloom.
 More Irises
The White Clematis Vines have been full of blooms! They are just gorgeous!!

We have lots of critters around here. We have always had them, but now that our dog Lady passed away last year we have bunches more! We have a Chipmunk raising her little ones in the rocks of our Koi Pond.

She has gotten more brave and will stay and look at us for a bit. The boys just love to watch for her! Isn't she a cutie?

My Day Lilies will be blooming soon. My one and only knock out rose is just beautiful and there is much more to anticipate.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Graduation Party

Saturday was Isaiah's birthday and a friend of ours graduated from High School. I helped plan her party which was held on her grandfather's farm. The farm has a park area behind it and it is pretty amazing!

The gazebo was where the gifts and desserts were placed. Her school colors are red, white and blue.
They had the all American menu. Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, potato salad, pasta, baked beans and chips. Everything tasted fantastic!

A Western Birthday

Isaiah turned 14 on Saturday. Wow! Can't believe it!! We had his party on Thursday evening. I recycled some of the graduation banquet decor and had a Western Birthday Party! Let's get started...
I requested boots and bandana for the cakes, something  "big boy" and Heather delivered just that! We had a large menu as usual! Pizza, 2 Pastas, Potato Salad (thanks Kelly), Chips and Dip, Veggies and Dip, Spinach Dip and Bread, Cheese ball and Crackers (thanks Kelly), Vegetable Rolls, Sausage Balls, Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, Cake and Ice Cream! YUMMY!
We had a large crowd. At least 60.
The children played basketball, kick ball, etc. We partied for 5 hours or more! Good times!!
 Cake and Ice Cream..

Money, Clothes, Gift Cards and Dirt Bike Riding Boots.

We were busy celebrating all day Saturday and finished all of the celebration off with Mexican of course =)
