April 23rd was my birthday! I turned 36! Some of my friends gave me gifts and cards. I received several texts and calls too. My mother spent the day with me she took me shopping and out to lunch at Cracker Barrell. The boys made me feel special and loved as well! James was working in Arizona and that made me a little sad... When I got home that night from church I had a special surprise on the porch swing!
James had asked his parents to deliver some flowers from him! And chocolate! It was the sweetest thing =)
And my parents brought a cookie cake to me! These cookie cakes are a family tradition!
Next...
We had been planning to take our Sunday School class to The Bounce House and so we did!
They ran and jumped and played for a little over 2 hours! James and I joined them along the way! It was great fun!
Afterwards we took pop an pizza to a local park. They were more than ready to eat =) After pizza we stopped by and got ice cream then we headed home!
Next...
As we near the end of the school year there are many activities, field trips etc.
Recently Isaiah attended the High School Banquet which recognizes the seniors. It was hosted at The Cumberland Inn which is an upscale inn and restaurant. They had a wonderful time! Here is a cell phone pic before leaving.
And there are field trips to the local ice cream shop =)
Next...
I am loving my yard right now! Everything is so lush and green! I have two white clematis vines in full bloom!

Next...
We recently attended a birthday party at our local park and they were having a car show. My daddy and the boys are standing next to a car like my dad's first car!
And last, but not least...Mother's Day! I hope that each of you had a blessed and wonderful day! So thankful for my mom =) We spent the day together yesterday and ate some Mexican. James and the boys made my day special as well!
And I guess that wraps up what's been happening as of late...thanks for stopping by!
In the future I will be sharing about what's been keeping me busy and a relocation in the very near future!

Taking A Peep At Easter
Happy Easter everyone! We like to refer to today as Resurrection Sunday. Truly Jesus has risen and brings us hope every day!
This weekend has been busy and the weather has been beautiful!
I made a little treat for our Easter dinner that we are sharing with friends and family tomorrow. I was given the idea from one of my friends and thought it was very fun and cute! I think the children will love it! Let's take a peep...
I bought several different kinds of peeps, cake pop sticks, jelly beans, jelly bean gum and a little flower pot from the Dollar Tree.
I then cut the peeps apart with kitchen scissors so they appeared nice and smooth on the sides. Next I filled the bottom of the pot with jelly beans. I then pressed the stick up inside the peeps and arranged them in the flower pot.
And here it is! I enjoyed making it and I am excited to share it.
Have a wonderful Easter friends!

Spring Break Camping
We love camping! So, for Spring Break we always try to camp. This year was no different. We spent the week at our local park/campground.
Camping is friends, stories, hot dogs and marshmallows (or peeps) around the fire.
Camping is good food made outside..such as Chicken Monterey. Recipe HERE
Or cheesecake with strawberry freezer jam on top.
Camping is BREAKFAST FOOD!
Camping is cousins and taking a break in the shade =)
Camping is all the family coming over for cheeseburgers!
Love our camper!
Camping is new friends and putt putt golf!
And for those of you who are from here and have played Putt Putt Golf on the same course for 100 years...the park staff told our boys they were getting ready to redo it!
Camping on spring break is enjoying the new growth, budding trees, birds, and squirrels every where!
Glad you got to enjoy hearing about our camping trip! You can read about a few more camping trips HERE and HERE
I have been enjoying your comments!

A Bit Of Spring
I have other things to post about like Micah's birthday, book fair and a new set of family pictures that I took. I will get to those, but for now I wanted to share a bit of Spring.
I freshened things up in the family room.
(before cleaning out the leaves) More daffodils down by the road.
The boys placed a feeder full of corn on the back deck and we have had several types of birds and several squirrels to stop in for a snack. CUTE!
And my rhododendron is blooming outside of our bedroom window! Love it! The large rhododendron won't bloom for a few more weeks.
I am sure that Spring is in full swing where you are! Leave a comment to let me know how things are going!

I am loving the weather that we've been having. Things are greening up and flowers are blooming! We went camping last week for Spring Break and I made a little vignette on the camper table. Picked some of my daffodils before leaving.
A few of the daffodils. The flower garden will fill up soon with peonies, day lilies, daisies, garden phlox, zebra grass etc.I freshened things up in the family room.

Valentine Banquet
Yes. I know that it's almost Easter =)
So, on the Friday before Valentine's Day our youth group attended a Valentine Banquet at a local church. Isaiah asked his friend Haleigh to join him. It was a fun filled evening with yummy food, gorgeous decorations, games, sweets and fun!
Isaiah and Haley
Isaiah was so handsome and Haley was beautiful! Love her dress!
The sweets were endless with a milk chocolate fountain and a white chocolate one. Brownies, marshmallows, rice krispy treats, strawberries, grapes etc to dip with. Love the wall behind it all.
And there was the ice cream bar where you could choose from many different toppings or make a root beer float!
The menu was grilled chicken or steak tips, baked potato, salad and a roll.
SWEETS!
The fellowship hall looked so beautiful!
One of the couple's arrived by horse and carriage!
I snapped a picture of Isaiah and Haley on the carriage!
It was a great evening for the kids and we had fun as well!
Thanks for sharing our fun! Yes. I know that I am a bit behind and most of my reader's know why...will be sharing more about that in the future.

Has God Been Faithful? Say Amen!
(I think I figured out the complication about viewing these videos. I can view them on my laptop or desktop, but not on my phone.)
