Camping

On Friday after school we headed out to camp. We took our camper. Some friends joined us and  there was 1 more camper and 2 tents. We camped at our friends property with a bathhouse, shelter, huge pond with paddle boats, island for fishing etc. We planned pot luck for Friday night and there was turkey, chicken casserole, green beans, potato salad, pasta salad, desserts etc.

 When all else fails, read the directions! :)

As soon as we arrived the boys were chomping at the bit to go swimming and fishing! We ate and enjoyed some fishing and swimming before the campfire. We  had smores and scary stories at the fire before bed...I don't know about everyone else but I slept great! Up around 8:30.

We fixed breakfast for 20 people. Sausage, bacon, eggs, gravy and biscuits.Home made strawberry and peach freezer jam!! Delicious!

The remaining part of the day consisted of lots of swimming, paddle boating, fishing, and of course eating :)

 Even the puppies went for a swim!

The pictures of Macy and Micah cracked me up! He just about had to lay down to reach the peddles....here he is paddling with his hand :-)

We had an absolute blast! Probably the best camping trip we have ever had!
